Guerin’s On The Go !

Our first “big” travel has been being planned for more than 1 year. We have embarked on a five day land tour followed by a seven day cruise on Royal Caribbean’s Radiance of the Seas. We are joined by our friends , Shaun and Vigdis Dunn and Mark and Jane Rudolph.

Our tour begins in Fairbanks, AK, the northernmost part of our tour. Fairbanks is the largest and coldest city in the Interior region of Alaska and the second largest in the state. We decided on this particular tour because it included Fairbanks. Our hope is that we will be far enough north to see the Northern Lights.

The downside is, it is a very long flight to Fairbanks from the Northeast. We all arrived and were exhausted after a very long day of travel. This does not make for a very interesting day at all…. We ate dinner and went to bed !

I did manage to take a few airplane pics that were decent. Tomorrow should be a better day with more sightseeing….
